The brief for the house was to make it as unique and beautiful as possible in the area of Jubbal. The challenges of construction in that area were immense which included non skilled labour for construction, unavailability of materials in the remote areas.

But apart from the challenges the area was beautiful, views of mountain ranges were amazing which motivated us all throughout the construction phase.

As the area is snowbound steep slopes were used to drain the snow as quickly as possible from the roof slopes.
