Being a Himachali, our client wanted to make something which showcased the himachali culture and heritage, therefore the design chosen for the building included himachali architecture to the core with exteriors resembling himachali Kathguni architecture style and extensive use of wood in exterior. The building has to be very much energy efficient as the site chosen for the project was at 11,000 feet above the seas level and temperature going well below sub zero.

The challenge was to make the stay of the clients comfortable at such temperatures and also showcase rich himachali heritage
